It is now an obligation rather than a recommendation, for everybody who deals with children or vulnerable adults within the parish, to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Police check. This includes those people who have to undergo this procedure in any other capacity, whether it be paid or voluntary work, as Bisop Kieran requires everyone to undergo a Police check via the Catholic Church.
